Now I am a full time LPN-Licensed Practical Nurse at the Rehabilitation Center Centennial, Colorado. Our patients stay for rehab from couple of days to 90 days. Most of the patients are after heart, knee, hip replacement surgeries who require further rehabilitation after the hospital.
I'm working 3 night shifts Monday-Wednesday 6pm-6.30am (12 hours shift). That works better for me instead of doing Monday-Friday regular 8 hour shifts. I'm off the rest of the week and can do short weekend trips without requesting time off.
:) There are a lot of beautiful places to see in Denver where I live now. Hiking, skiing and hot springs are my favorite hobbies!!
I moved to Chicago in 2002 and I got my first degree here in Aesthetics/Cosmetology. After working in a successful salon for one year I became self-employed as a licensed aesthetician. I had my own practice in beauty industry until 2013. Love and passion to the skin care brought me to the medical field. After receiving a Nursing degree I worked at the Dermatology office and assisted in performing cancer surgeries. I changed my job due to relocation to Denver. My daughter is a nursing student at the University of Colorado, Denver.
I recently finished continued education classes in Botox/fillers injections and would like to pursue my career to the Aesthetic Injector Nurse to perform other invasive procedures.
